High School Classes
CHEB offers high school students a set of core and elective courses that help families continue homeschooling through these years. Core courses have high expectations with regular homework, tests, projects, papers and grades. Teachers provide lectures, discussion, and instruction during classes on Monday and a suggested schedule of assignments to be completed at home the rest of the week. Some self-motivated students may take the AP exams at the end of the year if they have covered any additional material not covered in the course. Math classes may require an entrance examination and many classes have prerequisites. CHEB elective course offerings vary year to year in accordance with the needs of the currently enrolled students.
CHEB students may register for study hall at any point during the day, however, they are not allowed to register in concurrent sessions. In the event of a student having a large gap in his course schedule, we recommend the parents to pick their students up for the break and return later in the day.
